Create the asset QR Record

Store the asset name, QR Type, status, external reference, asset reference, serial reference, owner and operating notes behind the managed record.

Assign Site and nested Location

Place assets into factories, workshops, warehouses, departments, lines, bays, rooms, shelves, workstations or other tenant-defined operating structures.

Print the managed label

Use reusable label templates and print batches while retaining a snapshot of the managed QR URL and print history.

Change the live destination

Authorized users update the current landing page or permitted external destination without replacing the physical QR label.

Starter-and-above users can scan inside IndustryQR and save permitted actions such as Inspected, Serviced, Passed, Failed, On Hold or Needs Attention.*

Where all controls permit it, Pro can compare one browser-reported scanner position with the expected position after notice and permission. Accuracy-aware outcomes reduce false certainty.*

Important tracking boundary

A printed QR label does not broadcast its location.

IndustryQR does not continuously track an asset or prove its custody. The Pro location feature records the authenticated scanner device's point-in-time browser position and compares it with configured expected-position metadata. Public scanner GPS is not currently released.

Verified Operator Authorization

Future capability designed to help organizations and physical-world teams confirm that the authorized person is physically present when an important action, approval, inspection, handover or release takes place. Using controlled biometric face verification and liveness checks, the capability is intended to connect verified identity with the person’s permissions, qualifications and the specific operational action being performed, creating stronger accountability and a defensible event history for higher-risk or controlled work. This capability is on the Pro roadmap and remains subject to final engineering, privacy, security and rollout controls before release.
