IndustryQR Managed QR operations
for physical-world teams

Product capabilities

IndustryQR product capabilities in practice.

IndustryQR is a configurable, multi-tenant QR operations platform built around one main object: the managed QR Record. The platform controls the live route, label output, scan history, authenticated actions, QR-Type requirements, attention cases and Site/Location movement connected to each deployed QR label.

The product starts as a focused managed QR layer and expands into managed attention lifecycles, immutable movement history, operational reporting, stronger evidence, tenant-defined operational controls and one-time precise scan GPS comparison without becoming a full MES, QMS, CMMS, WMS or ERP.

From deployment to management insight

What IndustryQR helps your organisation achieve

IndustryQR combines a focused QR operations platform with practical deployment support from the Platform Foundry team.

01

Deploy around your real operation

Structure Sites and nested Locations, configure QR routes and actions, prepare initial QR Records and support adoption with the Platform Foundry team.

02

Turn scans into controlled action

Move beyond static links by connecting managed QR Records to public routes, protected sign-in and accountable operator Scan Actions.

03

Create evidence with context

Keep actions, notes, plan-permitted evidence, attention status, movement history, timestamps and operational context together.

04

Give management a clearer position

Use IndustryQR management KPIs and scheduled daily or weekly email digests to automatically surface activity, trends and matters requiring attention.

Control after printingChange the destination, revoke a route and retain the operating history.
Physical-world structureOrganise QR Records by QR Type, Site, nested Location and business reference.
Accountable evidenceLink authenticated actions, notes, enabled evidence, attention cases and controlled movement to the operator and QR Record.
Plan-led growthExpand capacity and advanced control through Starter, Growth and Pro, with Enterprise arranged privately.

1. Managed QR foundation

Build a controlled operating record behind every QR label.

IndustryQR stores the identity, structure, assignment and operating context that ordinary QR images and spreadsheet link lists leave unmanaged.

01

Managed QR Records

Represent assets, equipment, workstations, locations, work orders, lots, batches, serials, documents, instructions or other controlled operating points.

02

Sites and nested Locations

Structure factories, workshops, warehouses, depots, departments, lines, workstations, bays, shelves, bins and machine zones at the depth the tenant needs.

03

QR Types and references

Classify each QR Record, apply route and movement controls and retain external, asset, work-order, lot, batch and serial references.

04

Controlled QR Record movement*

Move eligible QR Records between Locations or Sites under plan, tenant, QR-Type and role controls rather than silently overwriting the current assignment.*

05

Immutable movement history*

Retain the previous assignment, new assignment, reason, user, source and movement time for each controlled relocation.*

06

Movement safeguards*

Clear stale QR Record-specific expected GPS overrides when required, fall back to the assigned Location or Site expected GPS coordinates and warn when existing labels may show old assignment text.*

2. Route, label and deployment control

Keep the label stable while the destination and operating need change.

The managed route, destination history and print snapshot protect the value of labels already deployed in the physical environment.

URL

Permanent managed scan URL

Each active QR Record receives a stable IndustryQR scan route controlled through the platform.

Dynamic destinations and route history

Authorised users change the current landing page, external URL or permitted destination and retain the reason, time and user history.

P/P

Public, protected and safe failure modes*

Starter, Growth and Pro include public and protected landing modes. Revoked, disabled and unavailable routes return controlled outcomes.*

Practical label templates

Use reusable layouts with controlled dimensions, QR size, margins and displayed information.

PB

Single and multi-QR print batches

Generate printable labels individually or in batches and retain batch and item history.

XL

Excel bulk import*

Starter-and-above tenants load QR Records, Sites and Locations through validation and controlled activation.*

3. Scan, action, requirement, attention and movement control

Separate passive scans from accountable operational actions.

IndustryQR keeps public scan activity, authenticated actions, action requirements, attention cases and QR Record movements as distinct, reviewable history.

01

Public scan resolution

Resolve the managed token, record the route outcome and show only the content or access pathway permitted by the current route.

02

Authenticated Operator Scanner*

Starter-and-above authorised users scan the physical QR through the camera-first operator pathway and continue into the correct tenant-safe action flow.*

03

Permitted Scan Actions*

Record inspection, receiving, service, completion, passed, failed, hold, movement or other assigned actions against the scanned QR Record.*

04

QR-Type action requirements*

Require one-time, calendar-count or rolling-interval authenticated actions and review Required, Due, Overdue or Met status across affected QR Records.*

05

Attention case lifecycle*

A Needs Attention action opens a managed case that authorised users acknowledge, progress, resolve and close while retaining the complete case history.*

06

Movement action pathway*

A movement action records the authenticated event first, preserves the previous Site and Location and then updates the eligible QR Record to its new assignment.*

Operational status and lifecycle

See what is required, what needs attention and what has moved.

Requirement reporting identifies missing authenticated work. Attention cases preserve follow-through from issue creation to controlled closure. Movement history preserves each deliberate change of Site or Location.

Required / DueShow where an authenticated-action rule applies and where the current target still needs completion.
Overdue / MetShow where the required period passed without completion or where the target is satisfied.
Open / In ProgressIdentify attention cases awaiting acknowledgement or active follow-through.
Resolved / ClosedSeparate recorded resolution from final closure and retain the full case history.
Movement historyRetain the previous and new assignments, reason, actor, source and time.
Assignment protectionApply same-Site and cross-Site role rules, GPS fallback handling and printed-label warnings.

4. Analytics, reporting, custom controls and precise GPS evidence

Review operating outcomes and define the controls that fit the tenant.

Detailed history supports management-level review. IndustryQR management KPIs bring together requirement, attention, movement and activity outcomes, while scheduled daily or weekly email digests automatically deliver current activity, trends and matters requiring attention. Higher plans add richer evidence, anomaly and tenant-defined context.

KPI

IndustryQR management KPIs*

Starter and above summarise requirement, attention, action, movement and prioritisation context. Growth and Pro add broader evidence, anomaly and custom-control intelligence.*

MAIL

Scheduled daily or weekly email digests*

Automatically deliver relevant activity, trends and matters requiring attention so recipients can see their current position without first opening the application.*

A

Scan history and anomaly analytics*

Review scan outcomes and action history by plan. Growth adds unusual-activity and possible duplicate-label analysis.*

QT

Tenant-defined QR Types*

Pro Tenant Administrators create operation-specific QR Types with their own labels, descriptions, route defaults, requirement rules and movement eligibility.*

SA

Tenant-defined Scan Actions*

Pro Tenant Administrators define action behaviour, evidence settings, attention behaviour and movement mode, then assign the effective action set to each QR Type.*

Expected GPS coordinates*

Growth records expected GPS coordinates and tolerance for Sites and Locations. Pro allows an individual QR Record to use its own expected GPS coordinates.*

GPS

One-time precise GPS for public and authenticated scans*

Growth and Pro can capture the scanner device’s precise GPS position once on eligible public and authenticated scans and compare it with expected GPS coordinates for the QR Record, Site or Location. Exact coordinates are restricted to Tenant Administrators and Tenant Managers. Growth retains them for up to 30 days; Pro for up to 90 days and adds a QR Record-specific expected GPS override.*

1
Tenant roles

Tenant Administrator, Tenant Manager, Operator and Reader responsibilities map to granular authorisation and package checks.

2
Tenant settings

Control route defaults, scan logging, Scan Actions, requirements, attention handling, movement availability, evidence, branding, reporting and plan-permitted GPS options.

3
Plan and capacity controls

Apply limits and feature entitlements across users, Sites, Locations, QR Records, templates, scans, actions, requirements, attention, movement, scheduled email reporting, imports, branding and precise scan GPS.

4
Audit and lifecycle

Retain controlled creation, change, route, print, scan, action, attention, movement and administration history.

5. Administration and product boundary

Tenant-safe administration without turning IndustryQR into a monolith.

IndustryQR owns the managed QR operating layer. Existing ERP, MES, QMS, CMMS, WMS and document systems remain separate systems of record.

Pro preserves an integration pathway, while actual external-system integrations, private deployments and customer-specific migration work remain separately scoped through Platform Foundry LLC.

Capability-control note

* Capability availability, limits and tenant controls follow the selected plan.

Advanced features also require the applicable platform release controls and tenant settings. One-time precise scan GPS is a permission-based comparison signal for eligible public and authenticated scans. It is not continuous tracking or conclusive proof that the QR-labelled item is physically present.
